How long does it take to make a bespoke engagement ring?

A bespoke engagement ring takes between six to eight weeks to create. Please allow three to four weeks for the design process and an additional three to four weeks for production.

How much does a bespoke engagement ring cost? 

Our bespoke engagement rings start at £10,000 and re-working family gemstones into a new ring starts at £3,000. 

How do you clean an engagement ring without damaging it?

Clean your jewellery with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water - we suggest a baby's toothbrush and a wee bit of fairy liquid. Leave to air dry on a clean tissue or cloth. 

Softer, more porous stones such as emeralds and pearls should avoid water and soap, and should be cleaned by polishing them with a soft cloth.

My ring no longer fits me. Can you resize it?

Within five years of purchase with us, you can get your ring resized free of charge, as long as you have proof of purchase. We do not resize rings we have not designed.

How can I tell what size ring to order?

Generally, our rings are made in size H through to T. To find out your size, pop in to see us so we can accurately measure your finger, or use this chart to measure your ring size at home.

What metals can you make my design in?

We create all our designs with 18k white or yellow gold, or platinum.

Can I get my bespoke peice engraved?

Yes! We offer a complimentary engraving service for all bespoke pieces designed and made by Whitelaw Gold. Simply let us know what you'd like during the design phase and we'll organise it.
